Important to know
Your eligibility is always determined by a medical examination.
During your first visit, you will undergo a completely free medical screening where a doctor will check whether you can safely donate plasma.
You can only become a plasma donor if you meet all the necessary eligibility requirements.

What happens during the eligibility examination?

Administration
First, we will register you and collect the information required for your visit.
Please bring:
- Valid photo ID
- Proof of address
- Hungarian or EU social security number
- Names of any medications you currently take or take regularly
- Relevant medical documents, if available

Medical checks
We will carry out the necessary checks to assess your health and determine whether plasma donation is safe for you.
These include:
- Body temperature
- Body weight
- BMI calculation
- Blood pressure and pulse
- Blood sample and laboratory tests
- Medical consultation

Eligibility
The doctor at the plasma centre will review all your results and determine whether you are medically eligible to donate plasma.
This decision is always based on the results of your medical examination and the applicable safety requirements.

You may donate plasma!
If everything is in order, you may be able to donate plasma during your very first visit.
For a morning donation, drink 1 litre of water. For an afternoon donation, drink 2 litres. Do not arrive on an empty stomach – have a light meal about 1.5 hours before your visit.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Compensation details & rules
At CSL, at the time of the first successful serological test confirming eligibility for plasma donation — if the test was performed from the donated plasma — and after submitting the questionnaires following your second and fifth donations, we provide shopping vouchers worth HUF 25,500 instead of the originally announced vouchers worth HUF 8,500.
For each additional questionnaire submitted after further donations, CSL provides a shopping voucher worth HUF 8,500, and after every 3rd occasion, a shopping voucher worth HUF 12,500.
You may donate plasma up to 45 times per year. Adding all of this together, you may calculate with benefits worth up to HUF 940,500 per year, if you also join our CSL CLUB program.
At CSL, following the first successful serological test confirming eligibility for plasma donation — if the test was performed from the donated plasma — and after submitting the questionnaires following your first, second and third donations, we provide shopping vouchers worth HUF 35,500, HUF 10,000 and HUF 15,500, respectively, instead of the originally announced vouchers worth HUF 8,500.
CSL provides a shopping voucher worth HUF 8,500 for each additional questionnaire submitted after the fourth donation.
You may donate plasma up to 45 times per year. Adding all of this together, you may calculate with benefits worth up to HUF 856,500 per year, if you also join our CSL CLUB program.
